Apple appears to be following the "test in Production" model that MS gave up years ago, allowing the users to report bugs. The PR guys will suggest that security issues or your hardware is the cause..... but with the record number of users having the same issues, it is obvious the QA/QC/Testing department is failing to produce reliable code. Always good to wait a few weeks before deploying ios updates.... IMO

I have had my SE (3rd Generation) for about a year now, and it started overheating about 6 months ago, and it's draining the battery in the process.
