Apple Watch Ultra 2 stops playing music per song when connected to Airpods

Upgraded after seeing your post to 10.3. It fixed the problem. They also fixed the problem when tapping AirPods 3 times, it only goes back one song. Before mine would go back 2 songs. Thanks for posting!

I had the same problem while running a marathon. I had to manually start each song. Very inconvenient! Afterwards, I fixed the problem by rebooting the watch.

I had this problem a few weeks ago. I reset my Apple Watch and it fixed playlists temporarily. Out on my run this morning and it’s doing it again. It plays one song on a playlist and gets stuck, I have to force it to play the next track either by double clicking my AirPods or skipping on my watch, both annoying during a workout.

My Ultra is updated to iOS 10.5. Does anyone know how to fix the issue without having to reset your watch and start from scratch every time?

I have the same exact problem. It’s driving me nuts. Just started 4 days ago. I hope somebody responds and knows what the fix is

I’m running WatchOS 10.5 and I am having the same problem on my Ultra.

I can tell you it's doing the same thing with Tidal so I'm guessing it's a watch problem not an app problem.
