iMac M3 losing wifi connection

My brand new (purchased November 12th) iMac M3 keeps losing the wifi connection continuously. For instance, first it goes from 5G to 2,4G, only to lose the wifi connection completely, usually within 5 - 10 mins.

Can someone give some advice, if I for instance should look in the "wifi details"? You know, where you can see TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, Proxies, Hardware etc.

If so, what configurations should I look for in there?

The very first thing you should do is the following:

  1. Unplug modem from power for 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in. Yes, even if everything else is okay.
  2. Unplug router from power for 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in. Yes, even if everything else is okay.
  3. Restart iMac in Safe Mode and then restart normally and test.
