Gmail refusing iCloud email

Using Mac mail. Email to @ gmail. Com recipients declined with following msg

Your message was rejected by gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com for the following reason:


    5.7.26 This mail has been blocked because the sender is unauthenticated.

    5.7.26 Gmail requires all senders to authenticate with either SPF or DKIM.

    5.7.26 

    5.7.26 Authentication results:

    5.7.26 DKIM = did not pass

    5.7.26 SPF [icloud.com] with ip: [213.120.69.100] = did not pass

looked at this bu too comes for me I have not changed anything my end and it worked before. Is there an easy fix? Tia

JUST SORTED THANKS TO APPLE CHAT SUPPORT


SOLUTION:

Open Mail. Select MAIL>> PREFERENCES >>

Highlight the problem icloud account

Click the "server settings" tab.

Make sure it shows the correct "outgoing Mail account" in dropdown list. (in my case xxxx@icloud.com )

IF it shows a different account (in my case yyyy@mailprovider.com), click the drop down menu and change it to the correct one.

Hopefully, like me, this will resolve the issue

SOLUTION:
