How to authenticate SPF or DKIM on an apple/icloud custom email domain?

Hi there, I recently started using an apple/icloud custom email domain. I followed the setup guidance for the custom email domain and everything works well with it, except that I am unable to send out emails to Gmail accounts (it seems that I can receive emails from Gmail accounts, but I cannot respond to them or send an email to them). When I try to do so, I receive an email from the "Mail Delivery System" with the subject line "Undelivered Mail Returned to Server" which reads as follows:

This mail is unauthenticated, which poses a security risk

to the 550-5.7.26 sender and Gmail users, and has been blocked. The sender

must 550-5.7.26 authenticate with at least one of SPF or DKIM. For this

message, 550-5.7.26 DKIM checks did not pass and SPF check for

[**name of custom email address**] did not 550-5.7.26 pass with ip: [17.58.63.176]. The

   sender should visit 550-5.7.26

   https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126#authentication for 550 5.7.26

   instructions on setting up authentication.

   end of DATA command)

I have followed the link provided in this message, but it doesn't provide much assistance and just advises that anybody who needs to authenticate with SPF or DKIM contact their email service provider.

Does anybody know how it is possible to authenticate SPF and/or DKIM on an apple/icloud custom email domain?

Many thanks :)

The 'custom domain' answer is not relevant.. The issue here is that when I send emails from my iCloud via mail they get bounced back when they go to Gmail accounts. I can use a different email that's not the issue and that email gets through but it's my iCloud account which allegedly is not authenticated, so I can't send any of my iCloud emails to Gmail account email addresses. The issue is not anything to do with a custom email domain.

I have been having the same issue since mid November = Gmail has tightened its requirements and SPF and DKIM issues will prevent mail from going == I am using my iCloud.com email, it goes to iCloud and then to Gmail people == and then I [sometimes] get a MAILER-DAEMON message =

DKIM signed ok

172.253.115.26 failed after I sent the message.

Remote host said: 550-5.7.26 This mail has been blocked because the sender is unauthenticated.

550-5.7.26 Gmail requires all senders to authenticate with either SPF or DKIM.

550-5.7.26

550-5.7.26 Authentication results:

550-5.7.26 DKIM = did not pass

550-5.7.26 SPF [icloud.com] with ip: [192.252.156.29] = did not pass

550-5.7.26

550-5.7.26 For instructions on setting up authentication, go to

550 5.7.26 https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126#authentication fk21-20020a05622a559500b004237645a813si17395922qtb.417 - gsmtp

I can't figure out the problem = and Google's answer is unclear to me =
