I was able to add my debit card to Apple Pay, but cannot add my Visa card.

New iPhone 15, could add my debit card to Apple Pay in my digital wallet. Cannot add my Visa credit card. I’ve contacted the card issuer, they’ve verified the account, did everything they could on their end, but I keep getting an ‘Invalid Credit Card’ message every time. I’ve tried scanning the card and entering it in manually, only to get the same message.

Same thing here, my issuer told me the following

Generally speaking, our cards can be added to Apple Pay without any issues. However, on occasion, iPhone devices are rejected due to having a ‘low device score’. Unfortunately, we've found that, whenever this happens, we're unable to bypass the decline and force the approval through. As such, we would suggest you use your card normally or add it to the Apple Pay of a different Apple device.

It's sad to see apple using these nontransparent measurements in order to determine if we can do the things we paid for.
