iCloud changed voice memo names after sync

I opened the voice memos app on my MacBook first time the other day and, when prompted to allow it to sync with iCloud, I said yes. The app synced, so all of my voice memos from my iPhone showed up in the app on my MacBook and it worked great. This morning I opened voice memos on my iPhone and all of the names of my voice memos are gone. They're all correct on the MacBook but it seems like syncing it reverted everything just on my phone. Anyone know what's going on here?

The same has been happening to me recently but in reverse. I normally record on my iPhone and edit the name from New Recording to a descriptive one.

The recording syncs to my MacBook but in the process changes its name to the date and time of the recording, with a Z at the end for good measure!

When I try to edit the name, it accepts the new one momentarily but it reverts to date and time when I hit return.

What's the fix?
