Apple TV 4K & Bose Soundbar 700

I recently purchased a soundbar 700 which is connected to my TV via HDMI ARC. There is also an Apple TV 4K connected. The defauly audio output in Apple TV 4K is TV audio and no matter how much I change it to Bose 700 , it still reverts back to TV audio.

Any help would be appreciated on how to fix this.

“Audio Output: TV speakers” is the intended setting for such a setup. This sends the audio signal over HDMI to the TV. Next, set the TV to passthrough the audio to the soundbar.
