Apple TV tvOS 17 restore failure
Since the update to tvOS, my Apple TV has been having issues. Most recent it gave an error saying failed to operate and gave 3 options: reset, restore or restart. We chose restore. The tv gets stuck on connecting to the phone via Bluetooth with a code. When code is entered, it starts updating and then loops back to connect to phone. It’s stuck in this continuous loop and we cannot get passed this. No remote combination of buttons work. Unplugging doesn’t work. iFix support cannot help and said I need to purchase a new device
