Apple Health on IPad can’t download my data

I’ve been really looking forward to Health on the iPad but since upgrading to the latest iOS on my new iPad Pro the Health app just says it is downloading my data (under my name on the app it says “Downloading” with the spinning wheel) but it hasn’t downloaded any info yet. Any idea how to get the iPad health app to sync up with my iPhone?
