Why is Health app data not syncing on my iPad Pro after iOS 18 update?

The Health app and data on an iPad Pro and an iPad Mini has not synced since the upgrade to ios 18. Syncing of the Health data is working fine on iPhone. iCloud syncing is turned on for Health on all three devices. A restart of all three devices has made no difference. Is there a way to force resumption of syncing on the iPads ?

Similar issue on my side.

Well actually it somehow synchronised but only twice and not anymore on a regular basis.

The last synchronisation date appears:

  • on iPad, below the avatar visible on top of main page
  • on iPhone, at the very bottom of the page visible after having clicked on your avatar

On the basis of which I can see that iPhone properly save the data but iPad does not fetch it reliably.

I managed however to trigger two syncs since the upgrades

  • by entering health data in Ipad, eg mental health but it does always work
  • by disabling/rebooting/re-enabling iCloud health sync on iPad

..but not in repeatable reliable ways.

There must be a bug in iPadOS.

Remark: I have upgrade at same time both my iPhone and my iPad to version 18.

problem also applies to IPad Air.

Watch is clearly syncing with iPhone 13 Pro as the updated data is there

Sync With iPad was working fully with iPad Air until IOS update was applied

I have tried switching Health app sync reboot and switching in on again with no effect

Opening the Health app “downloading” appears but no data since the is updated on the iPad when you can see the updated data on the iPhone 13 Pro
