Update now out and no option still to change text tone or option of notification sounds, disappointing obviously now a descision apple have made and is not a bug. Question is why?? It really has degraded the use of the phone. Im missing texts, notifications etc, cant hear sounds, its terrible.

It is disgraceful that they have repleaced the tri-tone with this new tone that I simply cannot hear! Please, please Apple - either revert the default notification tone BACK to tri-tone or, better still, introduce an option for us to select a different tone(s) in the next update!
I'm on an iPhone 13 mini and since iOS 17, my custom text tone has disappeared. I have tried to re-download it and set it has the default text tone, but the default goes to "none" and there is no way I have found to locate and use the custom tone.
IOS 17.0,2 and still no option to change Text tone or notifications (it's not a bug then)
