i use my airpods at night and i find the first volume level to be a bit too loud so usually i go to the control centre to adjust the slider lower than 1, but after the new ios update im not able to do that anymore and the volume just cuts out and i can’t hear anything. not sure if its related to the update or maybe just an unrelated issue, but i would love some advice or maybe apple could fix the bug please :)

I do not see a numbered volume level indicator on iOS 17.0.1. Nor there was any in previous iOS versions.
Try asking Siri: “What is volume”
Also try: “Set volume to 6”
to set volume to 6 percent

results in total silence 😞
Same! I have tried cleaning the airpods, resetting etc. Nothing is working.
I have the same issue with Airpod pro 2nd generation. If I reduce the volume less than 5 %, then there is no volume at all
