We have two MacBook Air laptops. One make the sent mail swoosh, the other doesn't. The Preference, now Settings, has change SO MUCH. Where and how do I control things like the sent mail swoosh?

Good answer! Operator error seems to have been my problem, however. As we were working on the problem, first one Mac went into Do Not Disturb and then the other one did too. So we were not hearing the sounds because of another setting. Once I turned off Do Not Disturb, the sound returned.
