no whoosh sound in mail on iMac OS Ventura 13.4.1
Occasionally this (and a few other weird things) happen. Right now, I'm not getting the whoosh sound when I send an email.

Volume has to be up and not muted.
See Mail>Settings>General> Sound makes some change here and verify it is working...
