I have a subscription to Microsoft 365 on my iMac, running Ventura 13.5. I keep getting messages that the apps, including Word, need to be updated.

I did the updates and am still getting the same message... anyone else?

More info: my Microsoft 365 subscription is up to date.

The Finder shows the Microsoft icons with a circle and a slash through it.

The slash through the application indicates it is too old a version to run under Ventura. For instance, 32 bit versions will appear that way. I would download fresh Microsoft 365 installers and reinstall the entire suite. If possible, run an uninstaller on your old version first. If the version you have is REALLY old, you may have to purchase a new subscription.
