Why does my phone give me the option of backing up automatically using cellular data if Wi-Fi is required?

my phone will only perform automatic backups when connected to Wi-Fi, even though the cellular option is turned on. How do I fix this? I’m currently at my cabin where I don’t have a Wi-Fi connection

You have a phone that supports 5G. It can back up over cellular.
