Update to Ventura 13.5 caused Printer problems! Update to 13.11.12.2 still does
This is my 2nd post on this printer issue in :
My 2 yr old Canon Printer showed it was "not connected to WiFi" the day after I uploaded Ventura Update 13.5. I printed the day before, but after the update? But it was [& is] connected, as was my WiFi router & clearly shows up in Systems Settings [all info is correct]. I've tried everything I can think of to fix this problem
I called Apple Care, they found nothing wrong with the mac or system. They told me "it's the printer" to call Canon. [one of the few times Apple Care did not help fix a problem, since 2006!]
- This type thing, problems with apps etc. happens every time I do an OS Update [6th this year to date?!?]
I did work on the Printer itself, & got the "connection" & was able to print something.
- BUT 3 days later, the printer, though nothing changed, Stopped working again. [sadly I forgot to write down the steps on the printer, drats.]
So, today I updated to Ventura 13.11.12.2, which was touted as it wouls "fix connection problems"
- BUT it did not. The printer still won't print, though the "job" box shows it is "ready to print" or it is "Printing."
Does anyone have an idea what's going on with these multiple updates that mess up apps & devises, but don't fix what they say they will?
