Apple Watch screen not dimming during sleep

Sleep mode isn’t dimming my watch face. Sleep focus is turned on on watch and iPhone, Share across devices on phone turned on. (iPhone does dim screen during sleep time) Turn on at wind down and sleep screen are toggled on in the watch. It has had several software updates since this started with no change.It also gets turned off 5 days out of the week in the morning and turned back on in the evening. I don't know if I did something or not to cause the sleep screen to stop working
