Apple Watch Always On Display Turns On Too Early During Sleep

Hi,

I use my Apple Watch Series 10 for sleep tracking. I have Always On Display enabled, and I also use the Sleep Schedule with Wind Down. Normally, the display turns off properly when Wind Down starts. But at some point during the night — way before my set wake-up time — the Always On Display turns on again.

This happens regardless of whether I have an alarm set or not. Depending on my sleeping position, the screen lights up and points right at my face, which wakes me up.

I want the screen to stay off until the wake-up time or until I manually turn off Sleep Focus. Is there any way to prevent the screen from lighting up early?

Thanks for any help.
