I can’t open the “Trackpad” settings pane.

The MacBook says: You can’t open the “Trackpad” settings pane because it is not available to you at this time. May someone help me to solve this error?

I can't access trackpad settings ! Hey guys, I erase and reset my MacBook Air 13" 2015 today and I can't understand why but I can't access my mac's trackpad settings. When I open it it just says it's looking for the bluetooth trackpad but I don't have it and the trackpad settings that should appear do not appear. I've already created a new user and the problem still persists. In the "plist" settings I don't have the files in relation to the trackpad, so I can't even delete that and I don't know if I don't need those files. Restart. Almost everything ! I have macOS Monterey Version 12.6.5 (21G531). I send an image of how the trackpad settings appear to me. P.s: the language is in portuguese, sorry. If anyone can help me I would be grateful.

brand new Magic Trackpad does not show up in system settings. magic trackpad does not show up in system settings. does show as bluetooth connected and can use somewhat but does not scroll, highlight or copy and paste. Since it is not there, don't have a way to change options. Read a few other posts and this seems to be a common problem. Need a solution, please. iMac Retina 5K, 27 inch, 2017. Ventura 13.7.6, system settings shows "your Mac is up to date".

Is your account an admin account? It might require that. If it is, try booting into safemode then back again to see if it gets corrected.
