MacBook Pro M1 2021 screens cracking! Have you also experienced this??

Hello community! I have been having issues with my MacBook Pro M1 screen about 6 months after I purchased it. It often would glitch and display colours and lines when turning on and while using it. I brought it into the Apple Store a couple months ago and they did a full inspection and said it was working perfectly fine and nothing was wrong. I took it home continued to use it and the same issues but worse were happening. I just opened up my screen this am and there is a crack on the far left bottom and now permanent lines are “bleeding” out of it. It has gone fully black and I can’t access anything and my whole album that I have been working on is inaccessible and possibly lost. I have made an appt for tomorrow but I’m writing this as I have read a ton online about this mysterious cracking of screens happening specifically with the MacBook Pro m1 from 2021. I take immaculate care of my computer and have never dropped it and it rarely leaves my desk and feel like there is some defect in this specific computer. If you have also experienced this I recommend you speak up about it, I feel like Apple needs to be accountable for this. Sounds like a recall on this specific model needs to happen.

The best you can do is over the counter at your appointment when you get there...

if you have a service record for an on-going issue with the display you may have some clout.

First tier support will give you the company line... you can ask to escale the issue up the chain of command. Only the store manager has some say over extenuating circumstances .

There is no Service Program for the 2021 M1 Display.

2021 Powerbook Screen X2 Cracked.

I am a life long Apple products user. I used to feel like the Apples products were not just smart, but durable. Your latest round of Powerbook screens are either defective or there is a design flaw in plain site.

Not only did my screen crack, the replacement screen cracked just under 60 days and was not replaced due to the warrantee stating I needed to PURCHASE another screen, THEN SEND the old screen back for inspection then Apple would determine IF they would credit my account or not.

I am not spending $1500 on screens hoping I will be credited.

I spoke with many geniuses, who were all very un-helpful and frankly rude.

I wish Apple would simply admit they got this one wrong, this is happening everywhere, and fix the issue instead of avoiding the problem (and there is a problem).

I did nothing, NOTHING to this screen. this issue is at the base in the screen where the TOO SHORT wires connect. The screens completely dead now, 70 days from brand new.
