I don't know why my apple pay doesn't work. I have an iPhone 12 and i put my card on it and it got verified. When i try to use it, it just doesn't work. Someone else had an iPhone 12 and it worked perfectly for them. Is it a software problem or is it a hardware problem i dont know.
Just for general knowledge I frequently have issues with Apple Pay at gas stations.
Please check to see if your iPhone OS is updated.

Please try using Apple Pay again when convenient.
You may have an issue with the NFC Module in your iPhone. Please contact Apple Support at 1-800-MY-APPLE and request remote diagnostics be done on your iPhone. You can also make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Retail Store and request diagnostics.
I have a 12 and the apple pay only works for online purchases and things but never at an actual card reader .
