Can no longer mirror my Mac to my Vizio smart tV. MAC OS is Ventura 13.4.1. Do not even have the AirPlay Icon on my menu bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but I already have the mirror icon on the top menu. When I invoke screen mirror I should see in the pull down menu my smart TV's name, but it's not there. It use to work great when I had Catalina. How can I get Mirror to recognize my smart TV in that pull down menu?

I can Airplay music from my MAC to my house speakers, but no video or sound through my Vizio TV. Using Catalina I could open any video and mirror it to my Vizio TV along with sound. I do not understand why this no longer works!! FYI both TV and Mac are on the same network

FYI, There did use to be an AirPlay icon for the menu bar, but it did get changed to Screen Mirroring. Do you possibly have an iPhone to see if you get the same results?
Go to > System Settings > Control Center > Screen Mirroring. Set this to "Always show in menu bar".
That will get you the screen mirroring icon in the menu bar. It should also be available by clicking the Control Center icon in the menu bar like this:
Did any settings change on your Vizio TV that could have happened automatically through a TV update?
Try shutting off TV and Router for 60 seconds then turn back on.
Depending on the settings on the Vizio TV, you should be able to reset the paired device in the Airplay settings. This will resend a code that you enter on your phone.

The AirPlay icon is not used any more. It is now the Screen Mirroring icon and available in the Control Center.
