UMC404HD Audio Interface - Macbook 16 OS13.4

I have just purchased a Behringer UMC404HD audio interface. The manufacturer confirmed that it works with Mac OS, but when it is connected to my Macbook while it does register the device, it is only working with one input channel and not the four the device offers.

I have tested the device on a Windows system. and it performs exactly as its supposed to showing all four channels as available inputs. Specifically in OBS. In Windows OBS sees all four input channels as available, where in OBS on the Macbook it just shows up as the device with no options for channels.

I am using my Macbook for all of my audio capture and editing so I would prefer not to have to revert to Windows just so I can use this piece of kit.See attached image for how the device is showing up.

Any suggestions?

Open Audio MIDI Setup, and see what it has to say about your audio device.

Does it recognize all the audio channels?

Under the name of the device, it should mention how many inputs and outputs, something like

UMC404HD 192K

m ins/n outs

Does m=n=4 in there?

Yes, this is what I can see. It is showing the four input channels. But when I open any audio capture or recording software, from Garage Band, Reaper and OBS they only pick it up as one channel with no option to split it out into its four input channels.
