Why does my remote now have touch buttons in the app instead of scroll pad was much better before this new update is terrible. I cant slide down quickly or scroll anymore. I liked it better when the remote emulated the actual apple tv remote features.

I've got the latest gen Apple TV and my Remote app seems to have updated to this very basic rendition as well. No swiping option and no TV icon either. It's turned on in Settings "Click and Touch", so it's not that. Super weird!
It fixed itself. Since posting this yesterday, the remote app is now back to the way it was and I have no idea why any of this occurred. I never reset the ATV so no idea if that would have done something. Thanks for the ideas tho!
I can no longer "kill" an app because the slide feature has gone away with the replacement of touch buttons on the apple tv remote app.
