Until one day I was able to just normally run Shortcut asking HomePod siri to run it. And one day it just stopped working, like magic. I tried to delete the shortcut, create a new one, reset everything - no effect, it just stopped working.
Did Apple turn off the feature?

This exact same thing happened to me, one day when I tried to run a shorcut from the homepod mini he just stays quiet, does nothing. And honestly I know I'm not gonna get a response in this reddit wanna be forum but I just logged in with my account to say that If I read one more time a dude who thinks is an expert saying "Have you tried resseting it or turn the power off" I'm gonna lose my mind, If I'm here is because I already tried that to begin with
You say, that the shortcut, that can be run from Shortcuts app (and works well), when suddenly it stops working in the line HomePod<->iPhone, that'st third-party app issue? Can you elaborate?

The shortcuts stopped working guess when? Yes, you are right - after one of the updates. I thought maybe Apple will try to solve it with any further update, but they just ignored the problem. So now, after few months, it still doesn't work. Those are shortcuts in Roborock vacuum app. I even spent additional time trying to make Apple software work and recreated the shortcuts to no avail. Restarted HomePods. Nothing works. Magic.

You're correct, it the shortcut is working in the Shortcuts app, it wouldn't be a third-party issue. At this point, we recommend that you Get Support directly from Apple Support so they can take a deeper look into this with you.
