Hey there Anisepd,

Upon researching your question, we were able to find an older link that shows how to use the Now Playing feature on your older watch: Use Now Playing on Apple Watch

If those are the steps you're following, then we'd like to confirm more details to better understand what's happening, along with ruling out some other possible causes:

  1. What exactly is happening when you try using Now Playing with your iPhone?
  2. When did the Now Playing feature stop working?
  3. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone and Restart your Apple Watch
  4. If you're pairing with a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.3.1. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
  5. For your model, the latest version it can have installed is watchOS 6.3. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to Update your Apple Watch

Cheers!
