I updated My viki app and I still have ads.

Did you sign in with an account that has a valid ‘Viki Pass’ subscription, that is supposed to bring a ‘no ads’ feature?
If you started the subscription with billing through Apple on a different device, then you may need to “restore purchases” on other Apple devices, to have it load those subscription details through the Apple ID account.
