samsung Xpress M2020w printer no longer reognized after installing OS 13 ventura

My samsung Xpress M2020w printer stopped being recognized after I "upgraded" to Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1.

As advised elsewhere. on this forum, I deleted and re-installed the available printer drivers, but it i sstill not recognized. I can't afford to get rid of a perfectly good printer. Any ideas.?

Hello gwhz,

It sounds like you've had the opportunity to take the steps from this resource: Solve printing problems on Mac - Apple Support

Since that persists, you'll want to use the steps below to reset the printing system:

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Printers & Scanners  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
2. Control-click the printer in the Printers list on the right, then choose Reset Printing System.
Note: If no printers appear in the Printers list, you can Control-click the empty list and choose Reset Printing System.
After you reset the printing system, the list of printers in Printers & Scanners settings is empty.
3. Re-add any printers.

You can also find those steps in this resource: Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem - Apple Support

Should that still persist, you'll want to reach out to your printer manufacturer: Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support They'll be in the best position to verifying compatibility and assist with troubleshooting their particular device further.

Take care.
