What do I do when I follow the instructions to remove a battery cover and it doesn’t work?

The “trick” is to gain enough “rotational” friction to turn the cap; without generating excessive “squeezing” force (which increases the rotational resistance).
A piece of “tacky” silicone rubber - sometimes found in kitchens to open balky jar lids - may help.

It certainly requires a bit of acquired “technique.”
That said, after recently returning from an EXTENDED international trip w/ one AirTag in each of my bags … I’ll never travel again w/o them.
