How to set paper size when scanning with iPhone?

I want to digitize a bunch of my college notes using my iPhone, but when I do it, a bunch of the scans come out in different sizes. Is there a way to set the paper size when scanning?

Scan with notes then print When i scan a document with Apple Notes, it looks in notes like a scanned document, when I try to print it, it looks in the print preview on the screen like a photo not like the scanned document plus it adds a blank page (I belive the blank page is the note area around the scan), when it actually prints, it prints the photo including all the space around what I cropped in the scan document. Example: I scan a page in a book, cropping the area around the section I want to keep in the scan. When I go to print, it both shows in the print preview and actually prints the areas I cropped out and it looks like a color photo as opposed to how it looks in the note as a scan. Basically I want to scan a document then print it exactly how it looks scanned. Please help, thanks!

notes scan document size Since the IOS 17 update when I scan more than one page of a document. All the pages appear different sizes. It works ok on other apps (genius scan) just Notes. I’ve worked out that it depends on how close I hold the phone, close makes it big far away small but previously the app would make any page scanned to a full page. When viewed. Is it a bug? Anyone else

Unable to print Scanned documents from Note without background Since the last iOS update 17.0.3 we are unable to print a scanned copy which was taken in notes without having the background still in the picture. We were able to print a cropped scanned copy with no background before the update with no problem. Has anyone else run in to this problem? Do you think it’s something Apple needs to address in its next update?

Hi enginerd_01,

If you're using the Notes app to scan your documents there is no option to adjust the paper size for each scan. However, you may find a third-party app in the App Store that is capable of the feature you're looking for.
