Amazon website shrinks when I use Safari on iPad 6th gen

Im having problem with Amazon.co.uk When I open the Homepage it's fine. I search and click on an item to view. Initially it opens the page normal size then within a couple of seconds shrinks the page to occupy the left hand 2/3 of screen. I've tried toggling between Desktop and mobile and it does the same. I've checked Settings>Safari>zoom to ensure that is set at 100%. Other websites are fine, it's only Amazon that is behaving badly.

iPad, iPadOS 15

Hello HGMac,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We see you're having some questions about a website not opening on your iPad, and we'd like to help. As you're using an older device, we'd recommend reaching out to Amazon to look into this further: How to contact an app developer

As this is happening with Safari, the article above may still assist with how to reach out to Amazon about this, as this is the only website you're having issues with.

Regards.

I’m not sure if this will help cuz my iPad is the 9th gen (running iOS 16), but mine was doing the same thing on only the amazon website on safari. On my settings for safari, there was a page zoom option. When I selected this, there was an option at the very top that was ONLY for amazon.com and it was set at 50%. I have no idea how it got set to this cuz I didn’t even know about it. But I changed it to 100% and it fixed it. See screenshots below. Hope this helps!
