Safari on iPad and iPhone displaying certain webpages small

I’ve noticed that Safari in IOS shrinks the entire webpage in certain circumstances. It appears to be due to it not handling a wider image correctly. Here’s an example from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Shure-SM7B-Cardioid-Dynamic-Microphone/dp/B0002E4Z8M If you scroll down you’ll see a section with the header “From the brand”. The photo in that Amazon template is 1464 wide and that’s causing an issue for Safari. If I set the zoom to 115% it displays properly but then the page can wobble as you scroll. Everything works correctly on a Mac.

Hey there Eniac_Gismo,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities.

If you're having an issue with Safari rendering webpages on your iPhone and iPad, we would recommend the troubleshooting outlined in the Apple Support article If Safari isn't loading websites or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. While the title of the article does not quite match your issue, its steps address a variety of unexpected behaviors in Safari and may help with your sizing issue.

Don't hesitate to respond back if you still need help after that.

Cheers!
