When I want to access Wi-Fi through control center and I try to put in a password for a Wi-Fi I haven’t connected to it shows the name of another Wi-Fi and it doesn’t allow me to put in the password. I have reset Wi-Fi settings but still no fix any one else with this issue or any one with a fix?

What bug? The Control Center was never designed to allow connection to a Wi-Fi network. A bug is something that doesn’t work the way it was designed. The control center works exactly the way it was designed to work. It doesn’t even have a place to select a Wi-Fi network.
Hmmm alright but what I’m saying is let’s say i pick a Wi-Fi in control center like it shows Wi-Fi’s to pick and there’s one I haven’t connected to before what it does is it shows a the name of one Wi-Fi that doesn’t correspond to the same name and doesn’t allow me to put the right password
You must connect to new Wi-Fi networks by going to Settings/Wi-Fi, choosing the network from the list and entering the password.
I do that but to keep going in to settings feels pointless I’m looking for a fix to the control center bug
How do you pick a Wi-Fi in Control Center? Are we talking about the same thing? The Control Center is what you see when you drag down from the battery icon.
