Hello. I have an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) which is working very well. I want to connect a second monitor to display, I'm thinking of this display LG UltraFine UHD 27-Inch Computer Monitor 27UN850-W. Which cable do I need to ensure this would work? Thanks!!
Your iMac does not support that Displays USB-C input.
You need to get and use a 4K Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable.

You could use a thunderbolt 2 to HDMI cable or converter. I use a cable but there are also converters out there ( I have a late 2013 imac which I use with a monitor every day)
