Why is my apple music subscription not showing

Hi, I renewed my apple music student subscription, but when I go into some music, it's showing that I need a subscription. I'm doing this on Android. Can someone help me?

Hi TripodPlayz,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand that you're seeing an alert that you need an Apple Music subscription although you've already subscribed to Apple Music.

You may need to contact Apple directly to review your subscription with you but, in the meantime, there are some troubleshooting steps you can take to help isolate this behavior further.

If you haven't already, we'd suggest that your restart your device, then sign out of Apple Music and sign in again.

To sign out:

  1. Open the Apple Music app.
  2. From the bottom of the screen, tap either Library, Listen Now, Browse, or Radio.
  3. Tap  .
  4. Tap Account Settings.
  5. From the bottom of the screen, tap Sign Out.

  1. To sign in, Tap  .
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Sign In.

You can also clear the app cache.

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to Apps, then tap it.
  4. Tap Apple Music.
  5. Tap Storage, then tap Clear Cache.
  6. Return to the Home screen or the application list, and reopen Apple Music.

If you're still unable to access your Apple Music subscription, you can reach out to Apple here: Contact Apple Support

Take care!
