Lost my AirTag with keys.

I try to locate it by playing a sound. I get a message “ no location found”, I enabled lost mode. The other day I get a message that notified me of my AirTag, lost AirTag if found to call my number. So, I looked around, tried to find it in that area. Not in range couldn’t play a sound. Any suggestions on how I can find it?

You came through from an article that provided great steps for locating your AirTag. In addition to those steps, you can locate the AirTag by completing the steps listed here: Locate an AirTag or other item in Find My on iPhone that are also below.

"See the location of an item

Tap Items at the bottom of the screen, then tap the item you want to locate.

If the item can be located: It appears on the map so you can see where it is. The location and timestamp appear below the item’s name. The item’s location is updated when it connects to the Find My network.
If the item can’t be located: You see where and when it was last located. Below Notifications, turn on Notify When Found. You receive a notification once it’s located again.
Important: Make sure you allow notifications for the Find My app. See Change notification settings on iPhone."
