Hi ProdByDraco,

Dolby Atmos is not supported on the Apple Watch but you can set up personalized Spatial Audio, as you saw from the resource that you referenced. If you'd like to leave feedback for Apple on this, you can do so with the link below.

Hi ProdByDraco,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about playing Dolby Atmos with your Apple Watch.

The article you came from shows what devices are currently compatible with this new feature, including your iPhone: About spatial audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple Music - Apple Support

"If you choose Automatic, here’s what you need

Supported songs automatically play in Dolby Atmos when you're listening with:

  • AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, AirPods (3rd generation), or Beats Fit Pro with Spatial Audio turned on
  • AirPods (1st or 2nd generation)"

Cheers.

Thank you for that, but in this article, Listen with Personalized Spatial Audio for AirPods and Beats - Apple Support, it says

After you sign in with your Apple ID, you can use Personalized Spatial Audio on these devices:

  • AirPods Pro (1st or 2nd generation), AirPods Max, AirPods (3rd generation), or Beats Fit Pro
  • Audiovisual content from a supported app
  • An iPhone or iPod touch with iOS 16 or later; an iPad with iPadOS 16.1 or later; an Apple Watch with watchOS 9 or later; an Apple TV with tvOS 16 or later; or a Mac computer with Apple silicon and macOS Ventura

So I was wondering if the Apple Watch supports Dolby Atmos, or does it mean you get spatial audio regardless of the audio format?
