Match Frame Rate and Match Dynamic Range causing loss of signal

My new Apple TV 4K running tvOS 16.1 is running into a snag whenever you return to the app selection screen. With the match content settings both toggled on, whenever I press the “home” button when I’m watching a show, the screen will go black and my tv will say the device is powered off. It’s not, in fact I can see the LED on the front of the Apple TV 4K blinking every time I press another button on the remote. If I press the center selection button enough times to randomly play a show, the picture will come back on.
