Hi, Thanks Matthew,
This actually reveals another issue.
I've never been able to find a way to knowingly save a Pages document on my ipad. I believe I've heard that there is a way but I've never found it. I do have documents that I've worked on and worked on again that continue to exist so I assume that in that respect they are saved (also I have no trouble duplicating and saving onto cloud or drive elsewhere) so if that is saving, I have saved, but I don't see anything that lets me know it has been saved if there is an actual procedure to saving a document.
Also, I am concerned that if I delete the Pages App on my ipad that the documents I've created will be gone. If that is not the case, where will they be? I am only skeptical because I know things occasionally happen that I never intended like if I delete something here, it gets deleted everywhere else also. Fortunately (though I don't recall for sure, since it was a long time ago) there seems to be a message saying if you do this it can't be undone. I have chosen long ago to never try it again since I don't like risking losing my work. I've managed working this way.
I am wondering, if Learn Spelling might just have been lost in the newest version of Pages. My Pages just updated itself on its own several days ago. I was not given an option to do it or do it now or do it later. If Learn Spelling might eventually be in the next version of Pages, might it just come back when it gets installed again? If that is the case, I can live with the squiggly red lines until then. I don't feel comfortable doing the above mentioned procedure. I mainly just type. I don't need special features and any words i want learned by the app are words I've invented so most of the time, words i want learned i keep in a separate dictionary elsewhere in a safe place.
I hope there are some answers to my questions above and or if waiting for the next update will resolve the issue. Thanks
