Trackpad not making clicking sound after cleaning

I was cleaning my laptop today and I inserted a bit of paper into the small gap between the trackpad and the casing and moved it around the perimeter of the trackpad. From then on my trackpad has stopped making a clicking sound when I click. It works fine, but just doesn't seem to move or make any sound!

It is a MacBook Pro 2020 if that helps. If anyone knows why this might be please let me know!

I have already tried the option+command+p+r on startup and that is not helping. I think I may have damaged the Taptic Engine after doing some research
