Apple Pay for under 13 years old
UK based mainstream banks E.g NatWest offer current account banking from 11 years old. These accounts allow Apple pay compatible debit cards, however Apple will not allow cards to be added to Wallet app for under 13’s.
If parents have decided that the child is responsible enough for a bank account and card AND the banks in the country allow the child of between 11 to 13 years to have a physical card which is Apple Pay ready then why should Apple prevent the use of such cards being added to the app? Considering Apple Pay is far more secure than a physical card this seems like a backwards move.
how can this be reconsidered?
