Over 11s should have Apple Pay UK

Apple, please allow 11+ to have Apple Pay. UK banks provide contactless bank cards and I’d much rather my child not walk around with a card and use her phone to pay as I do. Please release this ability for parent discretion. This shouldn’t be an Apple decision.

iPhone 13, iOS 17

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:

Product Feedback - Apple

I don't know what the law is in the UK but in the U.S., the age limit, the minimum age is 13.

I would think a card would be far safer than giving a child an expensive phone, as iPhones are frequently a target for theft. A card wouldn't be something the child would have out on display very often. Also, at least in the U.S., if a card is stolen, liability is limited.
