Health app not updating details automatically

My family member shares their health data via the Health app. Whenever I try to look at the data specified during certain days, the data will not be updated automatically even if the person sharing has made an update to their data. It will not load as it should and I have to wait and confirm after a few days that there has been an issue with the Health app. What could be the problem?
