Health app sharing

A family member and I are sharing health info with each other in the health app. The sharing was working fine until recently, but now when I click on her profile I get her data, but at the top there’s an error message that says:


“Some data cannot be displayed. Your Health app can’t show some of the data being shared. One of you may be using a more recent version of iOS than the other person.”


But we’ve both updated our phones and Apple Watches and restarted our phones and the error message remains, so I don’t know what the problem is.

One important factor to note is that while you indicate all devices are updated, you did not confirm that all devices are on the same version of iOS/watchOS. Devices of different models can be up-to-date but still have different maximum possible software versions. Verify that the versions are the same across comparable devices first.


If that is the case, ensure that the steps from Share and view health data in the Health app were followed and that one device did not turn off sharing with the other.


Should the concern continue, reach out to Apple Support directly to investigate further.
