Can’t find established group chats when typing who to send message to.

This problem started after updating to IOS 16. Now whenever I go to share a link and click share then go to compose the message and I’m typing the name of the group chat it’s going to, the already existing group chats don’t appear anymore. Also happened if i go to Imessage and try to compose a new message to a group chat. It will only show me individual contacts I have. If i select all the members in a preexisting group chat the old messages come up and I can send the message. Anyone know how to fix this?
