Can a Mac Mini connect to an iMac?

I have an iMac running macOS Catalina version 10.15.7. It is a 2.5 inch, late 2012 monitor with a processor 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Corei5. 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3 with graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB. Can I buy a mac Mini and use my older iMac as the display, the keyboard and bluetooth mousepad. It says it has 2 thunderbolt ports.

No, sadly the new Mac mini does not support using the Late 2012 iMac as a display.
