How to add a Stop in Apple Maps

I started directions to a place I'm going, is there a way to add a stop to my Apple Maps route without stopping my directions and starting over again?

How to add stops to walking directions? I am a tourist and want to plan my walking route between the different attractions. I see that Apple Maps allows me to add stops for CAR directions, but the “Add Stop” disappears when switching to walking directions. Is this a bug? It makes no sense to me. I also tried adding everything while in car directions and then switching over to walking directions - all but the first stop gets erased :-( Any advice/suggestions are appreciated.

Stop Apple Maps from changing the driving route by itself iOS 16.2. Hello, how can I prevent Apple Maps from changing the route to my destination while I’m already driving? It seems to auto change without my consent to the route it thinks is the best, which can be really annoying at times. If I selected a route out of the available options, I’d like to stick to it no matter what, unless there’s a major traffic situation and then I get to decide after the Maps prompts me. Thanks!
