Is there a way to program multiple stops (mimicking multiple “Add Stop” locations) to an Apple Maps route using the Shortcuts app?

Greetings the_puckett,
It looks like you're looking for a way to pre-program multiple stops along the way to a destination while using Apple Maps on your iPhone. If this is correct, the steps on this page can help guide you through the process of adding a stop while following a driving route: Find stops along your route in Maps on iPhone - Apple Support.
Add a stop while following a driving route
1. Tap the route card at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap Add Stop, then use the search field or a recent search result to find and select a place to stop.
3. Tap Add (in the list of search results) or Add Stop (in the place card for a search result).
Your directions are rerouted to take you to the stop next.
4. While on your route, you can do the following:
• Remove the stop: Tap the route card at the bottom of the screen, then tapnext to the stop.
• Pause directions when you stop: Tap Pause Route; when you get back on the road, tap Resume Route.
You can plan a multistop route before you start your trip. See Add a stop to your driving directions.
Note: Directions for multiple stops aren’t available in all countries or regions. See the iOS and iPadOS Feature Availability website.
If this is not what you're looking for, reply to include more specifics on what you're trying to accomplish, so that others in the Apple Support Communities can join in the conversation and offer guidance.
Best wishes!

Hi the_puckett,
Understood. You may want to check out this user guide for Shortcuts, as it might be helpful: Shortcuts User Guide - Apple Support
If you're not able to find a way to set up that shortcut and want to make a suggestion, you can do so with this link: Product Feedback - Apple
Take care.
Thank you so much for responding, genieen16!
I did not adequately explain what I'm hoping is possible to accomplish. My idea is to be able to use the Shortcuts app to automate the process of adding stops on a route in Maps. For instance: Use the Shortcuts app to create a shortcut that will pull all locations saved in a specific Maps Guide and plot a route touching each location. This can be accomplished manually by tapping Add Stop in Maps Directions, but I was hoping to automate it for a specific set of locations. Kind of a weird, one-off kind of thing, but I was curious if it's possible.
Hopefully this explanation provides the needed clarification. Thanks, again!
This is good info. I appreciate your time and sharing the links. I'll do some digging and see what I find.
Thank you, ryane77!
the_puckett ~ The simple answer is No. However, if you want to experiment within the limitations of Shortcuts, below is just something simple to start you off:
